Sales Engineer - Metallic and Non Metallic Expansion Joints

We’re recruiting a Sales Engineer – Industrial Sector for one of our engineering clients (EPC/Oil & Gas focus) seeking a high-performance, results-driven Sales Engineer to expand our footprint across the EPC, OEM, and industrial sectors. This role combines strong technical knowledge of expansion joints (metallic, rubber, fabric), bellows, piping systems, MEJ solutions, EJMA standards, and industrial hoses with exceptional commercial acumen.
Responsibilities
• Lead and grow the sales of metallic, rubber, and fabric expansion joints, bellows, and industrial hoses across industrial, power, oil & gas, marine, and EPC clients.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at EPCs, power plants, marine yards, oil & gas operators, and industrial customers.
• Manage the entire sales cycle: lead qualification ? client meetings ? site visits ? technical presentations ? order closure.
• Maintain a robust sales pipeline and ensure accurate CRM updates, opportunity tracking, and follow-up.
Technical & Commercial Responsibilities:
• Receive and manage RFQs/tenders from EPC contractors, consultants, and end-users.
• Prepare accurate, competitive, and technically aligned commercial proposals.
• Interpret P&IDs, GA drawings, movement/pressure specifications, and technical requirements to recommend suitable expansion joint (MEJ/EJMA-compliant) solutions.
• Assist in bid preparation, tender documentation, and compliance submissions.

Requirements
• 3–5 years of experience in industrial sales, preferably in piping, valves, expansion joints, or related engineered products.
• Strong technical understanding of piping/valve systems, bellows, expansion joints (MEJ), EJMA standards, and industrial applications.
• Familiarity with tendering, RFQ processes, and technical proposal preparation.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings (P&IDs, GA, movement specs).
Salary:
AED 6,000 to 15,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
